I am loosing my mind!! My husband's mother keeps stealing my stuff..yes.. she STEALS my stuff.
First time it happened and I thought I must have misplaced it. But it keeps happening when she is around. The very first time she stole my designer sandals. When she came to my house for delivery (like that's true!!) god knows what she did with my baby's clothes my mother sent with her. I could never find them after coming from hospital.
My money from my purse kept missing, my clothes....I mean seriously...what kind of sicko does these kind of things??? in her own son's house too...
You won't believe but she kept trashing my kitchen items too!!!
When I went to India after 3 yrs...within in few hours I found that something in my purse was out and she and her daughter were laughing at me....WTF???? What kind of mentality is that???
I had my own bath soap like everyone else but she deliberately kept using mine even when I kept it in the bedroom.
This woman her husband and daughter didn't want me in their family so they keep acting shitty...it's not difficult for them of course...I kept showing my husband but he thinks I am lying...
It's nothing but just acting nasty and trying to torture me for no reason...but they don't understand that their son has to pay for the stuff and it's his loss of money not mine....but it won't go into their thick head..

Very Strange! Maybe she is having some problem like kleptomania or else because simply she does not like you and showing her anger that her son married you in spite of that!

ReplyDeleteI had seen such persons. He had responsible job of Chief Sub Editor, believe me he was. But he was in habit of picking up things wherever he got chance.
Marriage halls were his favorite spot. Police too had suspicious about him, but hadn't chance to catch him red handed.
But once in a marriage he was caught red handed with jewellery bag of somebody in the marriage & sent to jail.
Another one was my acquittance who was friend of my landlord who often visited my place. He picked up anything he chanced.. from spoons, plates to bed sheet, even our underwear!!! But he was kind enough to inform us later on he picked up things.
After one or two incidences we stopped worrying about thief & went straight to his room where our stolen stuff used to be there for sure.
I don't know more scientifically about this mental disorder but it is a possible thing.
I will advice you just understand her & forget, keep your valuables locked all the time when she is around - and don't discuss it with her son anymore, because it doesn't seem to be a point in convincing him - after all what he will do except telling her not to steal & that will create more troubles for you and all others.
This will certainly help.
